It was a beautiful Saturday morning. The sun was shining and no clouds were in sight. Everyone was already outside, enjoying the weather, hanging out or just playing a few games. Everyone but Ira.
Thought it was 80 degrees out, she wore a dark green hoodie and jeans. She had just entered the book store. It was cooler in the store since the air conditioner seemed to be on. There weren't too many people in there; most were more interested in other things.
Not hesitating, Ira found her way to the music section. The only reason for her to enter any store was to either purchase food, things music related, and manga. She intended to visit the manga section after she scoped out how good this town's CD inventory was. Pulling off her headphones, she noticed a small girl just about her height, though perhaps a bit younger, standing in the same aisle, listening to the store sample music.
At least someone here appreciates music. A small smile appeared on her lips. They disappeared almost instantly when she noticed the girl looking at her.
Whoops. I have to stop paying attention to random people. Makes me look weird. Turning away, Ira began looking over the newly released CDs.
OOC: Sorry. I had no idea what to do. I'll edit if you need.

Hanabi had no idea why her sister needed a job. She was part of the Hyuuga Family. They had a lot of money. They could pay for whatever Hinata wanted. Hanabi mentally slapped herself. She was talking like a brat. Again. She was attempting to stop acting a brat ever since the ramen incident with Yukime Hiro. Hanabi entered the book store, hearing a ringing noise once she had opened the door. Her sister wasn`t there. She cursed her luck, she had gone to the book store only to find out Hinata wasn`t there. To say the least, Hanabi was pissed off.
Attempting to calm herself, Hanabi looked around the store. Books, what kind of books would a girl like herself want? Horror, mystery, suspense, and comedy. Hanabi realized something, she had never been in a bookstore before. She had only been to a Library. She frowned at the thought, and dug into her pocket to see if she had any money. None. Hanabi grimaced and sighed.
She could skim the books. Besides, she wouldn`t have the time to read the books with all the dinner parties she would need to go to in the near future. Hanabi wondered if Hinata even came to work. Or had she quit? No, even if Hinata was shy and sensitive. She was also determined. Hinata would never give up on something she had been wanting to do. Scanning the store, she realized that other people were inside. It had looked empty when she had first came in.
She was wrong. Hanabi wasn`t used to being wrong. She always got the answers right in school. She was the 'smartest person' in class. At least that`s what she had been told. Though Hanabi clearly doubted it. In fact, Hanabi hated school. She thought of it as a prison, somewhere kids should never be able to go. School was one of those places, the mall was the other place. Looking to her left she saw a girl that looked to be a Freshman in High School. Shrugging, Hanabi turned away and headed toward a random section of the store.
Taking out a randomly selected book, she flipped through the pages uninterestedly. It was about some Sci-Fi story. A girl had ran away from her home, finding out a dark secret about her parents. Her parents were part of some secret society that worshiped a god or something. The god ordered a female human child every decade to be his new bride. Hanabi raised an eyebrow and put the book back where she had found it. She wasn`t interested in gods, or a secret society. Hanabi`s fingers combed through her hair as she walked along the section of the book store.

Ira felt uncomfortable knowing that a person was looking at her. She regretted having taken notice of the random girl. This is why I ignore things... After quickly scanning the CDs that were placed on the display shelves, Ira shuffled away from the aisle, and the lingering gaze of the curious girl.
Trying to get away, Ira began meandering through the store, somehow ending up in the manga section. It was quiet because of the lack of people, and she picked up a volume of ________, sat down on the carpeted floor, and began reading. A light bell was heard from the entrance of the store.
Ira took no notice to this since it meant nothing other than the coming of another customer. Not even looking up to see who it was like most curious teens her age, she continued reading _______.
She heard someone walk past her from her position on the floor. This time, Ira only looked up because of their close proximity. The other girl hadn't seemed to notice she was not the only one in the store.
Ira noticed the younger girl was scowling with a vengeance. What's her problem? ...I guess if it isn't mine, I shouldn't bother. She turned back to her manga, but couldn't concentrate. Maybe she needs help.
Ira had always been a person that didn't care about what others did or said. She was always in her own world, listening to music and doing what she wanted. Only, since she moved to Konoha, she seemed to be calming down a bit. It might have been the freedom of living on her own, or just the change of scenery she needed, but Ira found herself becoming more open.
Great. The only time in the week I get to relax, I worry about another kid. She grumbled as she got to her feet. Placing the book back on the shelf where she found it, Ira went to search for the young girl.
She wasn't that far away. The raven haired girl was just putting back what looked like a rather thick science-fiction book.
Carefully approaching the younger child, Ira asked, "Do you need help?" This was probably not the best choice of words since it might make the girl annoyed, or give the impression that she worked here.

"Do you need help?"
Looking toward the voice, she calmly looked over the girl. She didn`t look like a person that would help a stranger out. Hanabi shook her head, she didn`t want to have an unnecessary conversation with a stranger. But, Hanabi felt obliged to say something. Something nice, funny, anything. Hanabi wasn`t one to strike a conversation with someone. But she wasn`t one to be rude and not talk. Most of the time at least. Sometimes she was rude, uncalled for, and sarcastic. But, suddenly in a good mood, Hanabi decided that she`d at least thank the girl for offering her help.
"No, I`m not in need of some help. But thank you for offering it."Hanabi said in a polite and calm voice. It was new to her, but she`d get used to it. Hopefully. She knew how to be polite, she just didn`t want to most of time. Turning away from the girl, she looked around the room once again. The book store was beginning to fill with more people. Not wanting to look like an idiot with no purpose in the store, Hanabi picked up a book and skimmed through it.
It was about another girl, but this time it was in the present. The girl`s parents have left her to live with her Uncle and Aunt, since they were going on a second honeymoon. Feeling lonely and left behind, the girl attempts to make friends with the locals, only to be shunned and looked at like they had seen ghost. Finally discovering that she was cloned by her older sibling wh had died in a car accident before she was born. Hanabi liked Sci-Fi stories, but the things in the stories never really interested her.
Putting the book down, she attempted to find a humorous book. One that didn`t involve clones or secret societies. Picking up a book, this time knowing it wasn`t a Sci-Fi book, she opened it and skimmed through it. It was a mystery/humor book. Or something in that category. It was about this sleuth of a girl that had been dropped at her grandpa`s house. The girl`s mother went to Hollywood to become a 'star'. The grandpa was wise and somewhat senile. The girl was a sarcastic and rude girl who known as the outcast at her school. Hanabi put the book down, knowing she wouldn`t have the money to buy it.
Being the idiot she was, she had probably forgotten it at home.

Turning to face her, the girl replied calmly,"No, I`m not in need of some help. But thank you for offering it." With that, Ira was content and felt she didn't need to worry about this girl anymore.
"Alright," was all she said, trying to smile. Ira could feel that it didn't reach her eyes, but it didn't matter, because the other girl was already leafing through another science-fiction book.
The freshman walked away, going back to the manga aisle. Pulling out the same manga she was reading earlier, she sat back down on the floor. From the entrance, Ira could hear the door dinging again. Either more people are here or someone left. It was actually the first of the two guesses. Ira took no notice to it- too wrapped up in her manga- but the once nearly empty store was starting to fill up. Perhaps it was because the time was nearing noon and some of the active people outside were seeking shelter from the heat. Ira just sat, oblivious to everyone since no one came anywhere remotely close to her.
Then, having finished the volume of _______, Ira stood up, straightened her sweater and looked at the shelf that stood before her, ready to retrieve another book. Without intending to, Ira turned her head slightly to look at the girl from before. I wonder where her parents are? The little white eyed girl was still rooted in the same spot, going over some more books.
Seriously, a little kid like her shouldn't be going around like this alone. The older student stood, pondering over a course of action. She now felt a need to somehow help another girl who wasn't in need of help. She said she doesn't need any help, but I have an odd feeling...
Sighing, Ira put the book she was holding back on the shelf and came back over to the girl.
Not being very absorbed in the books she was lightly skimming through, she sensed Ira coming and looked up.
"Look, I know you said you don't need help. I'm sorry if I insulted you, but my name is Ira," she said, extending a hand. "I'm a new kid in this town, so I think it would a good idea to make friends," she lied. "What's your name?"
