Lee quickly gathered up his books as he raced out of the classroom into the hall, teeming with students. The walls were lined with college posters and various announcements and artwork the students had done recently.
With a detention record and workbook tucked beneath his arm, he opened the door to the detention hall, and slightly moved his head as the sign flung toward him.
Lee dumped his books onto the table, and looked around the room. The hall was painted a dull gray and a large clocked hung above the desks neatly arranged in rows. Lee stared at the clock as he waited for his prisoners to arrive.
Lee shook his head and took a seat at the large desk in the front of the room. He opened the textbook in front of him and jotted notes down in his notebook.

The extremely dull room, normally would have bothered anyone but Shikamaru. Shikamaru was sentenced to the all too pleasant detention. His observer was the energetic Rock Lee. He doubted Lee would let him sleep even for the tinest of moments. This annoyed Shikamaru to a certain degree.
What else would he do in detention hall? Do homework? Yeah right. Shikamaru hoped that Lee would be distracted by some random student coming and seeking help from Lee, considering he was a tutor. That way, he could get some sleep.

Katanai reluctantly was pushed into the detention hall. She tried to call her cat to come and scratch the teacher who was dragging her by her arm so that she would let go. Katanai, being new to the school, didn't even know where she was.
She protested "What did I do!? I don't deserve detention!!! I didn't do anything!"
Before she knew it she was thrown into the detention hall with two boys. She didn't know any of them. She felt really lost without her faithful companion, her cat, Aurora. She studied the boys that she was trapped in with. One looked like a lazy slacker. She recognized him from one of her classes but still didn't know his name. The second was a preppy over achiever that just sent an annoying vibe Katanai's way.
She then saw that the boy was holding two things, a detention file and a workbook. *This must have to do with that bad math grade I got... I'm probably being tutored by this preppy geek" she thought angrily to herself.

Lee's eyes darted to the direction of the girl standing in the doorway. The teacher shoved the girl into a seat and walked over to speak to Lee.
"I'd like to to tutor Katanai, here," The teacher explained gesturing to Katanai. "You may recognize her from your Music Appreciation course." The teacher said glancing back at Katanai whom was fidgeting in her seat. The teacher leaned closer and said, "She a little... reluctant about her school work, Lee. But, I'm sure you'll get through to her."
With her words, Lee shot her a look of determination and flashed a blinding smile. "With no regrets, I shall be the epitome of greatness to Miss Misarashi!" The teacher sweat dropped and quickly walked out the classroom as other students peered in to see what the yelling was about.
Lee caught sight of the other students and shut the door. "Do not look at Shikamaru!" Lee cried, yelling angrily to the students. "He has brought shame to his reputation!" The students rose their eyebrows as they departed-- Lee was unaware that they had been curious about why he was planning his speech for becoming the next Confucious-- not Shikamaru.
Lee flipped open the workbook. He smiled at Katanai and handed her a pencil. "Do you know what you would like top work on, Katanai?" He asked. Giving her time to think, he switched his gaze to Shikamaru. "As for you, Shikamaru..." he addressed him with half pity and half shame.
"...I WANT YOU TO PAINT THIS ROOM! This shall be the most fitting consequence for you!" Lee yelled. Like out of nowhere, Lee pulled out several buckets of paint, each with it's own bright color. Lee tossed him a roller.
[Looks like you're going to be doing some chores, Shikamaru. xD]

(( okay, Lee. Since Shika seriously wants out of this RP and It seems like it'll be fun, I'm going to control his character quick and get him out of here))
Katanai watched, eyes wide, as a teacher came in and escorted Shikamaru out. Kat heard her say, "I'm sorry, Lee. Kakashi is free for watching over this trouble-maker. I'll leave you here to tutor Miss Misarashi."
*Hmph. Take me with you!* Katanai thought miserably as she watched her only other cell-mate in this prison walk out the door. She sighed. *I recognize him.... He's in my class, I believe...* She really didn't care as she thought this to herself.
She leaned on the desk that was in front of her, supporting her chin with her wrist. She sighed slightly, he breath nudging the fallen strand of her silver hair that had fallen in front of her face. She then said, with her eyes closed, "What did I do this time?"
