Some Fries, a Soda and the Cashier, Please.

[Kaboyashi Yumi]

Yumi held a mess of shopping bags in both of her hands and a red purse swung across her shoulder that matched nicely with her flats, white polo, and jeans. The shopping bags held labels from stores that neared the area she was walking by. On her part, it was smart to have worn shoes without heels-- she had been walking for a great deal of time and was thoroughly exhausted. Coffee. She needed some kind of carbonated drink. Dammit, why didn't this town have any decent cafes in walking distance?

Looking down at her feet as she walked Yumi hadn't noticed the man passing by her. She stumbled as he stopped to let her walk past him. Yumi looked up at to excuse herself, when her peripheral vision caught sight of a certain guy. Yumi mindlessly sauntered to the door entrance forgetting the man. She held her arms upwards so the bags slid toward her, allowing her to push open the door with her body.

A few tables clustered by the left side of the store, and booths lined the walls. A long counter, interrupted by a folding passageway, stood at the farthest back of the store with a cash register that seemed bolted onto the gray surface. Standing nonchalantly behind the resgister was none other than Sasuke Uchiha. "He's the working type? How cute. =D" Yumi thought to herself. Yumi then noticed the logo on his uniform.

... Mc-Freaking-Donalds?! Yumi nearly dropped the many bags she held in her hands as she took a minute to observe where she had just mindlessly entered completely unaware of where she was even at. McDonalds?!?!?! A fast food place?! This was the haven of all that was greasy and cheap! Hell, their mascot was a clown! Yumi's mind flashed back to tall, dark, and handsome. Screw that he worked for McDonalds. Screw that red did not look good on him. Screw that he was serving dozens of women [Otherwise known as the competition] burgers and drinks. He was HOT.

Yumi took her bags over to the closest booth and set them down. With a quick flourish she flipped her hair, and smiled coyly. She took model-like steps to the counter, while shooting dark glares at the girls staring at Sasuke. She rested her arm on the counter and smirked, and pretended to observe the menu. Yumi feigned a look of surprise as she pretended to have just noticed Sasuke. "Sasuke? How great! I had no clue you were even here!" Yep. She was smooth.

I think the smell of oil is getting to me....

Psh, your just a baby....

GO AWAY! Despite the inward scream, all that escaped Sasuke was a sigh. He had no idea why he even took this job. Sure he needed money, but why McDonalds? He had never liked this place, he didn't like it know, and he would be sure to prevent any children he had from going here.

"Welcome to McDonalds. My name is Sasuke. May I take your order?" That line got more annoying with every customer. He couldn't wait till his shift was over and he could go home. But then again, Itachi wasn't much better than this place. Actually, Sasuke would prefer to work here than to ever be in the same room with his older brother. Why did it seem harder to avoid him these days?!

"Um...ma'am? Hello?" The girl was staring right at him, oblivious to the fact that he had just asked her for her order. Or that he was talking to her at all. Sasuke was tempted to scream at her. Or snap in her face. Anything to get her attention.

That's right, shout! I'm sure Tenten will be proud.

Get out of my life?!

"Ma'am!" The girl awoke from her daydream/daze. She blushed furiously and left, burying her face in her hands, apparently embarrassed. Not that Sasuke cared. He dealt with this everyday. The manager said that business among the female population in the city had boomed after Sasuke was hired. Sure enough, he had to deal with a long line of girls hoping to go out with him.

He closed his eyes and sighed again, this time a little louder, as he heard another person walk up to the register. "Hello, my name is Sasuke. May I take your-"

"Sasuke? How great! I had no clue you were even here!" The sane(and even the insane) part of Sasuke's mind told him to keep his eye's shut. He knew that voice. It was enough to give him nightmares. It belonged to Kaboyashi Yumi, one of his biggest fangirls from school.

What I put up with for some cash... He was sure his weekly salary wasn't enough to compensate for this suffering.

Yumi’s eyes wandered helplessly around Sasuke scrutinizing his perfect features. It was like he was some kind of Greek God. Only he was Japanese. Yumi was so engrossed in her fantasies he nearly jumped back when a tanned hand waved in front of her face. "M'am!" an angelic voice brought Yumi back to her senses-- or as back as they were going to come to her-- and she broadened her smile. She flirtatiously flipped her shampooed hair so it's scent would catch the dull-eyed sophomore and hopefully knock him out unconscious. He was probably even hotter ASLEEP! Realizing that Sasuke was leering into her, expecting that she'd order she quickly pretended to observe the menu.

She gazed up at the black board thinly divided and cluttered with photographs of the food and white letters. Yumi enjoyed burgers but she'd only have them when it was served at a restaurant... with more class. She needed something that would take a lengthy amount of time and give her more time to kill with Sasuke. Taking a quick sneak behind Sasuke, she could see the other employees dumping fries into oil, and seasoning them with salt. Even further back behind the workers who were frying fries, she could see someone slap a slab of mea onto the grill and press it with a spatula.

This all seems so appetizing. Yumi sighed deeply, as she tried to make her choice. All the while she watched how much oil the workers were using. It was so GREASY. Couldn't all that oil be used for something more useful to humanity other than destroying the world's cholesterol? A worker crouched down and took out a jug of something and unscrewed the cap. He poured at he golden liquid out of the jug and into the burner. Yumi almost gagged. "If the world dies of heartburn, I blame this place." Yumi returned to trying to order something. Anything at this point.

Yumi's purse fell from the counter and clanged onto the floor. She picked it up and caught sight of her credit card and smiled mischievously. She slid the credit card back into her wallet and set her purse back onto the counter. THe metal design on her purse's snap clinked delicately against the fake-granite. Yumi rubbed at her stomach for a minute and feigned a look of hunger. "You have no idea how famished I am," she started. Yumi slipped out her credit card and held it between her finger and an angle while she kept up her act. Yumi was an accomplished actress, and she knew it well. She was actually convincing herself that she truly was starving.

Yumi laid down the plastic card, and said, "I think I'll take six of everything."
