Ino looked at the clock. Things in the flower shop were getting kind of boring. She just sat there, reading her magazine. She pushed her golden blond hair out of her eyes. She liked her new 'down' look but it got in her eyes...a lot.
She now sat up in her chair. She picked up a rose from one of the nearby vases. She inhaled the sweet scent that its petals gave off. She guessed that it was an ok job. She didn't really have to move anything or even really get up. She just sat and read her magazine and smelled the flowers until someone walked in. In that case, she would be so overjoyed to see someone that her peppy personality just took over. She sat there. She was bored out of her mind. So bored, in fact, that her magazine wasn't even amusing her.

The bustle of downtown Konoha was present, as Lee pushed his way through the crowd. Puffs of dust followed his feet and fogged the air. Clutched between his fingers, Lee held a list of items necessary for the school event that night.
Lee continued his search [which his teacher had labeled mission.] in the fabrics store where he purchased a few yards of red cloth and paints. Lee leaned the large piece of parchment against the wall and crossed off FABRICS. He drew a circle around FLOWERS and walked out of the fabric shop.
Lee had never stopped by the flower shop often; he mostly relied on finding the flowers himself in the park. But the weather had turned cold, and any flowers on the ground would be covered with frost. And, he needed a particular type of arrangement. Lee remembered the dependent faces of his advisers and put his hand over his chest. "I swear by the glory of God, I will not let you down!" Lee pledged causing the other customers to stare at him with crazed looks.
Lee raced toward the Yamanaka Flower Shop with a sparkling gleam in his eye, and a solemn expression on his features. He halted to a stop at the door of the shop and scraped his soles against the ground. He pumped his fist into the air. "Victory!" He yelled kicking open the door of the flower shop. He ran inside as the door swung back, and the bells released a hollow chime.
Lee glanced back at his list; written in meticulous handwriting RED AND VIOLET was scribbled just above FLOWERS. Lee stepped up to the counter. "I am in need of an arrangement of violet and red flowers," Lee stated. Waiting for a response, Lee peered over the counter. "Is anyone here?" He inquired, his heart's rapid beating echoing throughout his body.

Shikamaru rested peacefully where he slept for the duration of the day. After about three long hours, Shikamaru stirred in his sleep. After five more additional minutes, he finally rose from the bench.
He rubbed his eyes gently. He decided he better go and thank Ino for her help in finding a peaceful place to sleep in. Without her, he would have never gotten any sleep. He stood up and left the dead plants behind in the nursery.
(Idk)

Ino looked curiously at the boy at the counter. He was wearing green spandex. That's right- GREEN SPANDEX!!!!! She smirked to herself *he's more green than some of my plants*. She then said, "I can help you find the flowers if you want... you said red and violet, right?".
She flipped her golden hair. She then looked behind her to see the roses. She didn't know what type of flowers that 'Spandex Boy' wanted but she decided to pretend to make herself look busy.
(((idk!! O.o)))

Lee leaned against the counter, gazing at the wide variety available. His nose crinkled from all the different scents that filled air. Lee stood upright and met at an eye-level to Ino. "Any flowers that you are able to provide that fit those color selections, are fine to me, Ino-chan."
Lee sparkle-smiled to himself, and pumped his fist into the air. "I shall not disappoint you, my dear Gai-sensei!" A vortex of fire surrounded Lee momentarily as he had his... determination moment.
Lee caught sight of Shikamaru as he drowsily stepped into the shop interior from the back room. "Hello Shikamaru-san!" Lee rushed over to hug Shikamaru as chibi tears flowed down his red cheeks. "I have missed you so much!" He cried clinging to Shikamaru.

As Shikamaru slowly walked into the main area of the Yamanaka Flower shop, he was violently attacked. A hug delivered from a certain green spandex-wearing boy. It was that junior student, Rock Lee. The latter was crying, apparently because he missed Shikamaru.
Shikamaru did not understand this, due to the fact that Shikamaru did not even interact with Lee much. "This guy is so troublesome." He thought to himself. "He doesn't respect people's personal space..."
Shikamaru, directed at Lee, loudly commanded, "GET OFF ME!"

Ino blinked. *Oh. Spandex boy is Rock Lee. That's kind of obvious...* she thought to herself. When she saw him latch onto Shikamaru, who had just woken up, Ino took pity on him. *Ok, Ino. Now you HAVE to save Shikamaru from spandex boy...* a spark lit in her mind. She had a plan!
She wedged herself between Lee and Shikamaru. She smiled at Lee and took him by the hand. She dragged the junior happily to a place filled with flower arrangements. She said in a cheerful way, "Well, Lee, do any of these arrangements look good?!". She then looked over to Shikamaru. She signaled for him to go back to the nursery. She would tell him when Lee left.

Lee threw his hands back as Ino inched her way between him and Shikamaru, separating them. Lee followed Ino as she dragged him away to the small little hub of pre-made arrangements. Lee knelt down and fingered the petals as he eyed their bright colors. It hadn't occurred to him that violet and red were a horrible combination in the fashion world, and he would be unsuccessful finding an arrangement with that kind of scheme.
Lee continued to scan the selection, and noticed being in the shop was like being in a sanctuary-- every corner welcomed an oasis of harmony and beautiful colors and scents. Lee's smile hadn't diminished, but grown. An arrangement of a few mismatched plants caught Lees eye. A group of lilies were bunched by a few buds and broken thorns.
Lee picked up the pot, and sifted the fertile soil in the center to even it out. He turned the pot in his hand looking for a label. Printed in neat writing on a sticky note read, "clearance". Lee was unaware that plants could even be on sale. "Ino-san!" Lee called without turning, his eyes fixed on the note. "Ino-san!" He repeated this time turning around.
He stood up and watched as Ino spoke in a hushed tone. Lee tip-toed behind her and tapped on her shoulder. "Why are you speaking to that door?" Lee asked.
