Hanabi sat on her bed, replaying what had happened during dinner. Hinata and Neji had to go on missions with their teams, so Hanabi was stuck with her father. Father was a well-respected man. He was strict, strong, and intelligent. He was head of clan. He held the position that Hanabi yearned for. He had the respect that Hanabi wanted. He had the reputation that Hanabi was going to get. He was her father, and Hanabi was proud of it. It wasn't fair, why'd Hinata have to be born first? Hanabi could be a much better shinobi then Hinata could ever become! Or so she thought. She was highly intelligent for her age. She didn't think about boys. In fact, men were far from her goal. Her goal was to become head of the clan. To be respected and highly thought of. But, it wasn't meant to be. Hinata had been born first, and was the rightful heir. Hanabi was just her baby sister. The thought made her blood boil.
Hanabi stood up and clenched her hands. She opened her door and exited the Hyuuga compound. She needed to distract herself from these troublesome thoughts. She cursed under her breathe, she had forgotten her jacket, and it had just snowed yesterday. She blamed her idiocy on Hinata. Her eyes darkened as she marched through Konohagakure. She stopped at the ramen bar that Hinata's crush always ate at. Hanabi vaguely remembered the name of the place. Ichi something. She dashed into the ramen place, hoping to find warmth. She hated the cold. In fact, she despised it. She loathed it. If it were an actual creature, she would've destroyed it by now. But no, it wasn't. So she just stuck with hating it.
As she entered the shop, Hanabi looked it over. It had that happy homey feeling in it. Something the Hyuuga Compound lacked. Hanabi was comforted by the feeling. But she brushed it off, and sat on a stool. The old man looked kind and wise, someone that had good advice. But Hanabi wasn't in the talkative mood. But then again, when was she ever? Whenever she spoke, it was usually to say a rude or sarcastic comment. Yes she was mean, but did Hanabi care? Hell no! (Excuse my use of profanity) She was known as the brat of the Hyuuga clan. But of course she didn't care. She was Hyuuga Hanabi after all. She didn't give a crap about anything. She usually had that I-don't-care air around her.
Even though she was 'mean'. She still had her moments of kindness. Yet they were rare. As she took a seat on a stool, Hanabi ordered miso ramen.
